Shagufta Siddhi

Shagufta Siddhi

Currently pursuing a PhD in Indian education, Shagufta previously worked at the Smithsonian Institute as an assistant to the exhibition curator. She has led several groups sharing her expertise of the archaeological sites across India.

Shagufta received a Small Study and Research Grant by Nehru Trust for Indian Collections at the V and A Museum, London. In 2006, she was chosen as the Calderwod Curatorial Fellow at the Harvard Art Museums. Shagufta has also been a workshop leader, university career counsellor, and an organiser of cultural events at various levels, in addition to her teaching responsibilities. She has taught History and Art history at high school level in various countries and her last high school job was at The British School, Chanakyapuri. Shagufta’s current job is teaching a credit course called Ritual, Pilgrimage and Pluralism in India to visiting undergraduate students of the University of Wisconsin study-abroad programme.
