Rupert Christiansen

The Telegraph’s opera critic Rupert Christiansen is the author of a dozen books, including Prima Donna and The Faber Pocket Guide to Opera.

A frequent lecturer and contributor to many publications in both Britain and the USA, he is also a regular broadcaster and sits on the editorial board of Opera magazine. He has been The Telegraph’s opera critic since 1996.
