Eyrún Björnsdóttir

Eyrún has been working as a professional guide since 1990 and has extensive experience guiding people around the island of fire and ice.

As a valued member of ICESAR, the Icelandic Search and Rescue team, Eyrún Björnsdóttir has extensive knowledge about the forces of nature and is also a certified WFR – or Wilderness First Responder. Loving the Icelandic nature and geology, Eyrún inspires the travellers who join her on tour with insight and information on all topics from geology and nature, to folklore and even her own personal stories. Eyrún is a people-minded guide and is very enthusiastic in sharing both the knowledge and passion she has for her country.
