Travelling aboard the M/S Equator, the M/S Galileo and the M/S Princess Aloha, circumnavigate the Peloponnese from Athens, and explore the richly historic Dalmatian Coast and islands. These are small ships, presenting more of a yacht cruise experience, which offer you a more appealing and intimate way to explore the coastlines of Greece and Croatia. Each boat has between 18-24 cabins and their more compact sizes mean that they can berth in smaller, more characterful ports of call.

The two Dalmatian cruises will be led by our celebrated expert guide lecturer John Shepherd, who is an experienced archaeologist and Roman specialist, and worked at the prestigious Museum of London for over 20 years. Local expert Eugenia Alexiou, who holds a Master’s in Byzantine Art and is passionate about Aegean civilisations relating to the Bronze Age, will lead the Classical Greece cruise.

M/S Equator on the Historical Highlights of Dalmatia cruise

Built in 2017, this new vessel is one of the finest from the ATLAS fleet and it is equivalent to a good 4* hotel. With just 18 cabins across two accommodation decks, this boat is exclusive to Andante. Elegantly furnished cabins are all outside-facing, with portholes in lower deck cabins and windows in the main deck rooms, and each cabin comes with a private bathroom, air conditioning and a flat screen TV. The salon restaurant serves delicious buffet breakfasts, four-course lunches and two included dinners. The sun deck boasts a jacuzzi and sunbeds, and WiFi is available for free on board.

M/S Princess Aloha on the Dalmatian Island Medley cruise

Exclusive to Andante and just six years old, this boat belongs to the middle of three categories within the ATLAS fleet and it can be characterised as equivalent to a good 3* hotel. With just 18 cabins across two accommodation decks, the M/S Princess Aloha boasts comfortable air-conditioned cabins with private bathrooms, portholes in lower deck cabins and windows in the main deck cabins, and flat screen TVs. The on-board restaurant has communal seating and will serve up daily buffet breakfasts, four-course lunches and two included dinners. The boat’s sun deck provides the idea place to relax with a drink after a day visiting some of the ancient world’s leading archaeological and historical sites.

M/S Galileo on the Classical Highlights of Greece cruise

With its classic lines and wood-panelling evoking a bygone era of travel by sea, this is a fully motorised yacht – and one that unfurls its sails at least once every voyage. 24 cabins are situated across two decks, each featuring porthole windows, flat screen TVs, individually controlled air-conditioning units, en-suite bathrooms with showers, hairdryers, mini-fridges and mini-safes. This cruise is full-board, with all buffet meals served in the comfortable restaurant, which is situated next to a bar area and library/games store. If weather permits, the included lectures may be delivered on the impressive sun deck. WiFi is available at an extra cost throughout the cruise on board the M/S Galileo.
