Meet Wanderlust's Top History & Culture Guide, our very own expert guide lecturer Dr. Eireann Marshall

Dr. Eireann Marshall, one of Andante's longest-running and most popular tour guides, has been crowned Wanderlust magazine's Top History & Culture Guide at its 2019 World Guide Awards. 

A few months ago, we asked you to submit nominations to Wanderlust for the person you most enjoyed touring with and you nominated Eireann in your droves. She made it through the public voting process and was announced as one of 10 finalists, who came together at Wednesday night's awards ceremony. Not only was Eireann named Wanderlust's Top History & Culture Guide, she was also the only female finalist. Her husband, Stephen (pictured below), was on hand to collect the prize on Eireann's behalf as she is currently leading an Andante tour in Italy.
