Dr Nick Thorpe

Dr Nick Thorpe is Senior Lecturer in Archaeology at The University of Winchester.

He has published books and articles on prehistoric Wessex, Britain and Europe, burial practices, the origins of agriculture, warfare, ancient inventions and the archaeological fringe. His current fieldwork projects are in Somerset and Denmark.
