Dr Ian Friel
Dr Ian Friel is a maritime historian, who has enjoyed a long career working in museums, including the Mary Rose.
He is also an independent historian, museum consultant and writer. His consultancy projects include work on Southampton’s Sea City Museum and Tudor House Museum, and Greenwich’s National Maritime Museum.
