Dr Andy Souter

Dr Andy Souter currently lectures at the University of Reading and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is particularly interested in the architecture of ancient Rome and completed his PhD thesis on the rural economy of Roman Portugal.

Andy has worked on a number of fieldwork projects, including those at Felix Romuliana in Serbia and Portus in Italy, and has also completed periods of research at a number of diverse sites in both central and Southern Portugal.
